All new BMW vehicles purchased prior to November 2022 came with a three-year warranty. BMW now has a 5-year manufacturer's new-car warranty.
We can extend your car warranty coverage on BMW vehicles for an additional three years.
Extended BMW warranty offered on your car covers against failure of the components that would have been covered by the original BMW warranty if it had not expired.
How it works:
Warranty coverage is available for an additional 3 years up to 200,000kms travelled.
For example, you currently own a 2019 BMW X5 xDrive which has travelled 50,000kms and is worth $109,950. The BMW manufacturer warranty will expire in 2022.
The extended BMW warranty coverage on our website is as simple as selecting your BMW using our REGO lookup or vehicle selector and then selecting the commencement date of your coverage. We recommend selecting your extended car warranty to start the day after your BMW manufacturer’s warranty expires to get continual coverage and no overlap.
In this scenario, you will then be covered against any failure of the covered mechanical components for:
The market value of your BMW: $109,950
3 additional years: until 2025
Up to 200,000kms: 150,000 more kms
Our extended BMW warranty insurance does not cover for regular services, wear & tear or paint, panel and trim damage. It also doesn’t cover car accidents which is where your compulsory third party or compressive insurance will kick in.

Towing assistance up to $300 per claim in the event of a covered mechanical breakdown where your motor vehicle is unable to be quickly mechanically repaired or safely driven to an AWN approved repairer.
Accommodation assistance up to $300 per claim for emergency accommodation, arrangements and costs in the event of a covered major vehicle breakdown where you are more than 400km from your registered residence and it is taking more than 48 hours to repair.
Car hire assistance up to $300 per claim for car hire costs in the event of a covered major vehicle breakdown where you are more than 400km from your registered residence and taking more than 48 hours to repair. (Specifically excluding car hire over weekends and public holidays).
One final benefit available is that we can cover your BMW even if it’s manufacturer car warranty has already expired. For example - a 2017 BMW 2 Series warranty would have expired in 2020.
