Extended Warranty Cover for Porsche.

What’s Covered?

Own a Porsche? We can extend your warranty coverage for 3 additional years up to 200,000kms.

Auto Auto offers extended car warranty cover for non-hybrid Porsche vehicles with pricing starting at $3,220. You will be covered up to the current market value of your Porsche up to $120,000.

You are covered against failure of the covered mechanical components, up to the current market value of your Porsche (up to $120,000) that would have been covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty if it had not expired.

What’s not covered?

Our extended car warranty insurance for your Porsche does not cover for regular services, wear & tear or paint, panel and trim damage. It also doesn’t cover car accidents which is where your compulsory third party or compressive insurance will kick in.

Is my Porsche eligible for extended warranty cover?

The easiest and fastest way to check if your Porsche is eligible for extended car warranty cover is via our REGO checker. This will look up your exact vehicle via its registration plate (number plate). If you don’t know the REGO of the vehicle, put ‘TBA’ in the Registration field and you can use our vehicle selector tool to get a quote for your Porsche.

We can provide extended car warranty coverage provided your Porsche is less than 8 years old and travelled less than 140,000kms.

One final benefit available is that we can cover your Porsche even if its manufacturer warranty has already expired. For example - a 2017 Porsche 911 warranty would have expired in 2020. We can still provide extended car warranty cover on this Porsche subject to a 90 day no-commencement (no claim) period to ensure there are no underlying faults. Read the PDS for full terms.

Should I purchase extended warranty coverage for my Porsche?

Reliability is always high on the list of priorities for car owners. Especially for luxury vehicles such as a Porsche. As vehicles age, the likelihood of a mechanical or electrical failure naturally increases.

Extended warranty for Porsche is seen as an investment in your peace of mind that limits financial risk.

Advantages

  • Financial protection. In the event of a mechanical or electrical breakdown of your Porsche, extended warranty cover will pay for itself quickly. This is especially true for luxury brands such as Porsche, where costs are typically higher for replacing items.

  • Increases Porsche resale value. The policy is fully transferable to the person to whom you sell your car. Cars with extended warranty cover usually sell faster and for a higher amount.

Drawbacks

  • You may not need to use your extended warranty cover.

The best time to purchase protection is while you’re still under the original Porsche factory warranty. Waiting until your Porsche nears the end of the manufacturer warranty gives you the choice to purchase an extension when it’s most valuable and cost-effective to you.
